Yamaha AC5R ARE Concert Cutaway Acoustic by Yamaha features reliable rosewood back and sides with a hand-selected Sitka spruce top. The natural and dynamic plugged-in tone of the SRT2 pickup system is perfectly suited to your performance on stage, and the premium Japanese-made build quality will satisfy the desires of advanced players.
Yamaha ac5r are concert acoustic Concert Cutaway guitars that are louder and more powerful in the lower midranges thanks to the cutting-edge acoustic analysis technology that Yamaha’s R&D division developed. Their analysis led to a new scalloped bracing for the top deck and a shorter-than-normal bracing for the back deck.
From a cutting piezo sound to a pure, warm acoustic sound that sounds like it was recorded with vintage microphones in a skilled studio, Yamaha’s SRT2 lets you reproduce sound you can utilize on stage. With SRT2, you can meld these two sounds to achieve the exact balance you want to achieve a distinctive tone.
Using feedback from extensive research with musicians, luthiers, and guitar technicians, Yamaha gave the A-Series guitars a neck with the feel and playability sought by today’s electro-acoustic guitarists. Whether switching from electric to acoustic on stage, recording a session with complex open tunings, or practicing at home, these great guitars feature a straighter neck for the easier playing of the high frets and hand-rolled fingerboard edges for a touching sensation.
The simple, organic design features timber binding and other methods that capture the warmth of wood. The distinctive pickguard shape, a prominent feature when playing, is a revival of the N1000 guitar Yamaha , released in 1975.

Yamaha is one of the best options for any beginner, whether for acoustic or electric guitars. The quality and consistency that you can get for your money is nothing short of phenomenal.
While the Yamaha AC5R ARE Concert Cutaway Price has a standard Western body cutaway, its lows, and highs reverberate even more than those generated by conventional designs, thanks to the new scalloped top bracing and shorter rear bracing. These changes allow the top and back to resonate more innately and with greater volume in the low-midranges. The western cut gives it a classic look, but an all-new bolster design brings the Yamaha AC5R into the 21st century – and into the Sweetwater showroom!
